We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Liane Feldman as new Clinical Director of the CLIP.
As Clinical Director, Dr Feldman will oversee integration of clinical validation of new innovations at the CLIP .
Dr Feldman is the Edward W. Archibald Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery at McGill University and Surgeon-in-chief at the McGill University Health Centre.

Dr Feldman’s patient-centered clinical research program focuses on improving recovery and other outcomes of abdominal surgery. Internationally recognized with her team for developing, implementing and evaluating multidisciplinary perioperative care plans, Dr. Feldman established the MUHC Surgical Recovery Group that has created and implemented over 20 innovative care pathways across the Department of Surgery.

She succeeds Dr Gerald Fried the inaugural Clinical Director who helped found the CLIP with Dr Barralet in 2021.
