McConnell Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM)
The McConnell Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM) at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) provides a full range of clinical trail services in its state-of-the-art environment. The CIM includes two research centres at both the Glen Site and Montreal General Hospital.
RI-MUHC staff members can offer expertise in clinical trials management, quality control monitoring, project management of multicentre trials, data management, statistics, and assistance with on-site specialized equipment.

Experimental Operating Room
The McConnell Centre for Innovative Medicine is equipped with a fully functional Experimental Operating Room. Strategically placed in the main operating room area of the Royal Victoria Hospital in the MUHC, this fully functional Experimental Operating Room was designed specifically for simulation and can accommodate a variety of simulation activities in the context of clinical research.
Our staff’s expertise includes project management, quality assurance, training in clinical research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and technical assistance with data collection and video editing.

Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning
The Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning is an interprofessional centre of excellence that uses the latest medical simulation technologies to enhance the skills of health care professionals. With world-class facilities occupying 31,000 square feet, they are able to reproduce authentic health care settings to offer a highly immersive, realistic, and safe environment.
