The CLIP Welcomes HOP TECH

The Clinical Innovation Platform (CLIP), powered by National Bank, and MEDTEQ+, are pleased to announce the addition of Sherbrooke-based HOP TECH as CLIP’s newest member.

HOP TECH is a Quebec-based digital health start-up specializing in the development of clinical decision support tools based on data from multiple sources, including their wearable, a multi-sensor connected watch that supports patients with type 2-diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, post-surgical rehabilitation and COVID-19.
Founded by Mrs. Diane Groleau, CEO, the company is currently deploying several breakthrough studies of clinical validation for their technology to monitor patients and hospital staff in the COVID setting as well as Type2-Diabetes and Cardiovascular patients to identify digital biomarkers of the diseases. At the CLIP, HOP TECH will develop personalised digital solutions for post-surgical tracking of patients’ rehabilitation (i.e. pain management physical activity programs).
Supported by MEDTEQ+ as part of the Beachhead™, a national program that qualifies and trains dedicated clinical sites to generate support for the commercialization of medtech and healthtech innovations, HOP TECH will benefit from physical location at Beachhead™ member the CLIP where they are co-located alongside clinical innovators at the Montreal General Hospital and RI-MUHC.
