🌟 Advancing AI in clinical research!
Over the past 8 weeks, a students team — part of the  at McGill Ventures—had the privilege of tackling an impactful project provided by Clinical Innovation Platform (CLIP)
Guided by Dr Anthony Bozzo FRCSC, the initiative focused on advancing a cutting-edge multimodal neural network to transform clinical data workflows and support multicenter research.
Huge congratulations to the talented, multidisciplinary team of McGill University students selected by McGill Ventures team:
– Aaron Menezes – B.Eng. Software Engineering
– Rukun Dou – Medical Student
– Anastasiya Gudymenko – Medical Student
– Justin Kashi – Biological & Biomedical Engineering
“The students worked on multiple solutions needed to enable multicenter collaboration for our multimodal neural network. They helped develop applications to anonymize, clean, and preprocess our image data, in addition to further developing our playbook that describes all the steps needed for multicenter collaboration. Thank you to the motivated students and their efforts!” — Dr. Bozzo
By bridging the gap between software engineering, biomedical engineering, and clinical medicine, these students built real-world solutions that lay the groundwork for scalable medical AI research.
The program was supported by William (Liam) Prato-Deriet and Canyu Wu form the McGill Venture team.
