Founded by Ina Na, PhD (CEO), Anna Frumkin (Co-COO), Jamie Magrill (Co-COO), and Paul Adamson (Principal Software Developer), NeedleAID Smart is digitally transforming in-hospital sharps container management. Their platform connects a fleet of smart sensors to monitor sharps container fill levels in real time, helping hospitals know when and where replacements are needed to streamline workflows, maximize healthcare and support staff time, and optimize spending budgets.

As part of the CLIP, NeedleAid will be co-located alongside clinicians at the Montreal General Hospital and RI-MUHC | Research Institute of the MUHC | #rimuhc. Over the next 12 months, our ecosystem will help accelerate the expansion of their digital sharps container management platform across Québec and Canada, supporting broader multi-site validation, commercialization, and adoption.
