We are pleased to welcome Scopia Surgical to the CLIP!
Founders Gabriel Rivest (CEO) and Sébastien Delorme, PhD (CTO) are MedTech leaders with a combined 40 years of experience in the industry! Their mission? To revolutionize laparoscopic and robotic surgery with the first-ever navigation system that merges pre-op imaging with real-time AI and computer vision. This innovative platform will enable surgeons to visualize hidden structures intraoperatively using augmented reality, directly on the lap tower, enhancing precision and safety during surgery. Their digital solution is targeted at MIS colorectal and gynecologic oncology.
As part of the CLIP, Scopia Surgical will be co-located alongside clinicians at the Montreal General Hospital and Research Institute of the MUHC (RI-MUHC). Our program will help them in the development and testing of a functioning prototype.
