Scan2Lattice joins the CLIP

Share

We are thrilled to welcome Scan2Lattice to the CLIP Community!

Founded by Roozbeh Safavieh, Ph.D., Scan2Lattice is a Montreal-based startup developing an AI-driven platform for personalized protective equipment. Using a smartphone, users can scan their head, and the system automatically generates a custom-fit helmet design with optimized lattice structures for superior impact absorption and comfort.

Their vision is to transform how protective gear is designed and manufactured, shifting from standardized products to fully personalized, high-performance solutions, while enabling more sustainable, on-demand production through digital manufacturing.

As part of the CLIP, Scan2Lattice will be co-located alongside clinicians at the Montreal General Hospital and RI-MUHC | Research Institute of the MUHC | #rimuhc. Our ecosystem will support them as they develop and validate their end-to-end scanning-to-design pipeline, prototype CSA-compliant customized helmets, conduct real-world testing with early adopters, refine performance, and prepare for pilot-scale manufacturing and initial commercialization.
